Subscribing and paying through Steam

How to get Satomi Pro, which plans there are, how renewal works and what to do if the payment didn't go through.

Satomi Pro is purchased and paid for through Steam.

How to subscribe

  1. Click the gear. On the account card at the top, click Upgrade to Satomi Pro.
  2. Choose a plan: Yearly or Monthly. The yearly plan is selected by default; it's the better deal.
  3. Click the payment button. The Steam payment page opens in your browser.
  4. Confirm the purchase in Steam.
  5. Go back to the app: the screen updates on its own and shows Pro is on. Click Continue.
Getting Satomi Pro

The price is shown on the plans screen in your Steam wallet currency.

If you came to checkout from a paid theme, a widget profile or the channel limit window, after payment the app takes you back there and turns on what you picked.

Renewal

The subscription renews automatically: when the period ends, Steam charges your wallet. Sometimes the charge comes through with a delay of up to 24 hours. Pro keeps working in the meantime.

Two days before renewal, a notice appears above the message field with the renewal date, the amount and an Add Steam funds button. If there isn't enough money in your balance, Steam closes the subscription, and you'll need to subscribe to Pro again.

You can cancel renewal at any time. More in Canceling your subscription.

If the payment didn't go through

  • Payment didn't go through: the purchase was canceled in Steam or there weren't enough funds. Nothing was charged. To try again, click Open Steam again.
  • Payment waiting in Steam: the purchase was started but not confirmed. Click Continue payment or Cancel this purchase. Nothing is charged without confirmation, and after 24 hours an unfinished purchase closes on its own.
  • A Payment didn't start notification: the app couldn't reach the servers, and Steam didn't open. No money was charged; try again in a minute.

FAQ

Can I change my plan

For now, only like this: cancel the subscription, wait for the paid period to end and subscribe for a different period.

Will my subscription carry over to another computer?

Yes. It's tied to your Steam account, not to your computer.
