Messages to several chats

How to write in chat right from SatomiChat and send one message to all connected chats at once.

You can write from the app to Twitch, Kick and VK Video Live chats. Each channel needs a linked platform account that the message will be sent as. How to link one: Signing in to platform accounts.

How to choose a chat

  1. Click the round button to the left of the message field.
  2. In the Send to menu, choose a channel. If the message won't be sent from the channel's own account, you'll see the @account you're writing as under the channel name.
  3. Write your message and press Enter.

Your choice is remembered. If the account you need isn't there yet, there's Add account at the bottom of the menu.

One message to all chats

When you can write to at least two channels, All chats appears in the menu. Choose it, and the message goes to all channels with a selected account at the same time. The empty field then says “Message all chats”.

Sending a message to all chats
  • If the message didn't reach any chat, the text stays in the field so you can send it again.
  • If it didn't reach only some of the chats, a list of where it didn't arrive appears above the field. The text is cleared from the field so you don't accidentally send it a second time where it already arrived.
  • Commands like /ban don't work in All chats mode: choose a specific channel.

Keys

  • Enter sends, Shift+Enter starts a new line.
  • The up and down arrows scroll through your last 50 sent messages. The history is kept while the app is open.
  • Esc cancels replying to a message.
  • / opens the platform's command list.

Messages can be up to 500 characters long. When 50 characters are left, a counter appears next to the field.

If there's no message field

  • Check Appearance → Show chat input.
  • The field is there only if a Twitch, Kick or VK Video Live channel is connected.
  • There's no message field in game mode.
