Voice groups
A set of voices from which a viewer's voice is picked, for example only female or only male voices.
A group is a set of voices from which a voice is randomly picked for a viewer on each message. That way a viewer always gets, say, a female voice, but not always the same one.
How to create a group
- Open Settings → Text-to-speech → Personalization → Voice groups.
- Click Add group. The new group opens right away.
- Type a name in the Name field and check the voices. The ▶ button next to a voice lets you listen to it.
Changes are saved right away. To delete a group, use the red Delete button at the bottom of its screen.
How to assign a group
A group can only be assigned to viewers; you can't set it as the main voice.
- From the feed: right-click a message or click the username, then Assign voice, Groups section.
- In settings: Viewer voices, Add voice or group.
To keep the voice from changing
By default, the voice from a group is picked again for each message. If you turn on Fixed voice per viewer in Advanced, each viewer gets one consistent voice from the group.
