Connecting donation services
How to connect Donation Alerts, DonatePay, Donatty, DonateX and Donate.Stream, where to get the token and what to do if the service rejected it.
SatomiChat shows donations in the feed next to chat and displays them in the OBS widget. The donation service itself reads donations aloud in its alerts; SatomiChat doesn't. Five services are supported: Donation Alerts, DonatePay, Donatty, DonateX and Donate.Stream.
How to connect
- Click the gear and open Donations & notifications.
- Choose a service in the Available list. If you already have one service connected, click Add donation service first.
- Paste the token and click Add donation service.
Where to get the token
Under the field there's an Account settings link: it opens the right page on the service.

The token consists of Latin letters, digits and the characters ., _ and -, and is at least 10 characters long. If the app says Token is too short, you most likely didn't copy the whole token.
Limits
- Each service connects with one account. This limit is the same on the free plan and with Satomi Pro.
- All five services connect through the SatomiChat cloud: their donations reach the cloud OBS widget even when the app is closed.
If the service rejected the token
This happens if the token was regenerated or revoked in the service's settings. Donations then stop coming in. The feed shows a “… token no longer works” message with an Open settings button, and in the list of services a red The service rejected the token label appears under the service name.
Open the service's page with the button in the feed or from the list, click the row that says The service rejected the token and paste a new token. It replaces the old one.
Turn off or remove a service
Click the service in the list. Switching off Enable service turns it off temporarily; Delete removes it completely.
